Information on workshop literature and diagnosis

PCSS (Porsche Central Service System; formerly TSI) is an application that provides access to technical information on this website for authorised companies within the meaning of Article 4(2) of Commission Regulation No. 1400/2002 or its successor regulations as well as Regulations EU 2018/858 and the similar country-specific RMI (Repair and Maintenance Information) requirements. If you also want to carry out diagnostics on the vehicle, please note the information below for diagnostic access.

Prerequisites for access to workshop literature and diagnosis

PPN (Porsche Partner Network) is a portal for web applications and provides access for independent workshops to required Porsche systems such as PCSS. PPN is accessed via PPN

What is the application and registration procedure?

Click on the 'Registration' tab at the top of the page to complete registration. After successful registration, you will receive an automatically generated e-mail with a link to the PPN login page and your system access details. After you login, you will gain access to PCSS. Please note: PPN registration for PCSS plus Security Information is only valid for 2 years from the date of the applicant’s National Police Check Report, after which a new one will be required.

Notification for diagnostic access:

Access for the diagnostic application requires special accreditation. In addition to the PPN conditions of use you must also: After the PPN Terms of Use and the PCSS TSI Security Access Agreement have been checked and approved by your Porsche importer, an individual certificate will be created and made available to you as a download and your PPN user account will be expanded to include the diagnostic application.

What are the costs of using the functionalities?

The applications are mostly fee-based and can be used after purchasing a time-based subscription. The subscription can be ordered within the application and after creating a customer account via the 'Registration' tab. You gain access after creating a PPN user account for independent workshops.

What is defined as Safety Information?

Any technical information relating to the following vehicle systems:

  1. An Electric Vehicle (EV) high-voltage system. This includes a system that has hazardous voltage if the working voltage is above 60V direct current (DC) and/or greater than 30V alternating current (AC).
  2. The Hybrid system. This includes an internal combustion engine (regardless of fuel type) and at least one electric/traction motor.
  3. The electric propulsion system. This includes a vehicle being powered by one or more electric motors or traction motors.

Prerequisites for access to Safety Information

  1. Safety information can only be provided to an Australian repairer or registered training organisation (RTO) who will be using the information solely for the purpose of that repair business or training course.
  2. The user must have successfully completed training that teaches competency in safely depowering, isolating and re-initialising a high voltage battery in a vehicle. Currently, only TAFE course AURETH101 – De-power and reinitialise battery electric vehicles www.training.gov.au/training/details/AURETH001 or other comparable Manufacturer (OEM) HV training certifications may be accepted.

What is defined as Security Information?

Any technical information relating to the following vehicle systems:

  • Security information relates to the mechanical and electrical security systems of the vehicle (including locking and immobilisation)

Prerequisites for access to Security Information

  1. Security information can only be provided to an Australian repairer or registered training organisation (RTO) who will be using the information solely for the purpose of that repair business or training course.
  2. The applicant must provide a National Police Check Report dated no earlier than two (2) years before the date access is requested. The Report is available from https://www.afp.gov.au/what-we-do/services/criminal-records/national-police-checks#sample. An individual is not eligible to access security information if the Report shows they have been convicted of any of the following offences against any law of the Commonwealth or of a State or a Territory:
    • An offence involving theft, where a custodial sentence was imposed;
    • An offence involving theft of a motor vehicle or motor vehicle component, where the individual did not receive a custodial sentence; or
    • An offence involving deception, fraud or dishonesty, or any other offence involving tampering with a motor vehicle or motor vehicle component, whether or not a custodial sentence was imposed.   3. The applicant must submit a PCSS TSI Security Access Agreement including a signed declaration showing that the applicant has not been convicted of one of the above offences since the date of the Report.
